Veterans Day was officially established on November 11th, 1938. On Veteran’s Day, it is customary to thank a veteran for their service. Whether they served in World War II, Vietnam, Iraq, or Afghanistan, they have sacrificed much for our country. In some countries, Veteran’s Day is a national holiday and many people celebrate by holding parades and ceremonies.
