The Great Wall is a military fortification in northern China that was built to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire. The Taj Mahal is a white marble mausoleum located in Agra, India. The Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is regarded as one of the most beautiful buildings in the world and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
